The Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Federal Universities,at its meeting on wednesday,14TH May,2008,in Abuja,elected Prof. E.A.C. Nwanze,Vice-Chancellor,University of Benin,as its new Chairman for the 2008/2009 session.Prof.Jubrila Dalhatu Amin,Vice-Chancellor,University of Maiduguri,whose term of office ended on Tuesday,20th May,2008.Prof.Nwanze is to be assisted by the alternate Chairman,Prof.T.M. Bande,Vice-chairman,Usmanu Danfodiyo University,Sokoto.
