3. Publicity & Branding

  • Promotes the university’s achievements, research, and activities through various media channels.
  • Oversees the content of the university’s website, social media pages, and newsletters.
  • Ensures that the university maintains a positive public image.

4. Event Management

  • Coordinates official university events, such as convocation ceremonies, inaugural lectures, and conferences.
  • Works with departments and faculties to publicize academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Arranges media coverage for major university events.

5. Crisis Communication

  • Handles crisis situations involving the university, such as student protests, staff disputes, or emergencies.
  • Provides official responses to controversial issues affecting the institution.
  • Manages damage control and ensures transparency in communication.

6. Liaison with Government & Stakeholders

  • Acts as a link between the university and government agencies, policymakers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represents the university in external engagements, meetings, and conferences.

7. Publication & Documentation

  • Supervises the production of official university publications, such as bulletins, annual reports, and brochures.
  • Ensures accurate record-keeping of major university announcements and achievements.

8. Social Media & Digital Engagement

  • Manages the university’s official social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Engages with students, staff, and the public on digital platforms to provide information and address concerns.
